This design was taken from Aesop’s fable about the Fox and the Grapes. In the story a hungry fox comes across a bunch of grapes in a vineyard. He cannot reach the grapes to pick them and after many tries he gives up on getting the grapes. To feel better he tells himself that the grapes must be sour anyway.
This is where the term Sour Grapes originates from and according to Merriam Webster English Language Learners it is defines as:
unfair criticism that comes from someone who is disappointed about not getting something
With that in mind I created fictitious logo/label of Aesop’s Sour Grapes Vineyard and added the punny slogan of “We make the best whine.”
