The rapid and rampant spread of misinformation has created daily difficulties in our lives. It has become a challenge to root out the truth of most popular situations, to the extent that we are becoming a Misinfo Nation. This topic was so prevalent that dictionary.com made it the 2018 word of the year and they define it as:
false information that is spread, regardless of whether there is intention to mislead
In other words people are spreading messages they believe are true irrespective of the facts.
